Catalina'sPlein Air Legacy

Governance & Transparency

How we operate, and our promise to you

Trust is essential to a community initiative. Here's how we think about governance, stewardship and transparency as we build.

Where we are today

Catalina's Plein Air Legacy is an emerging community initiative in its founding chapter. Organizational structure, formal nonprofit status and detailed financial reporting are being developed. This page describes our guiding principles and intended use of funds while those details are finalized.

Guiding principles

Community first

Decisions prioritize the long-term cultural benefit to Catalina and its residents over any single event or individual.

Responsible stewardship

Membership and sponsorship funds are directed toward programming, education and the costs of building a sustainable festival.

Open communication

As the organization formalizes, we will share regular updates on progress, plans and how contributions are used.

Fair opportunity

Artist participation, when applicable, will follow clear, published criteria that are consistent and equitable.
